Then let the guest and ambulance sort that out. I've dealt with resorts for a while, and almost certainly the only reason they were hesitant to call an ambulance is some variation of 'they didn't want to alarm the other guests'.

Yes, there are guests who rate things way out of whack with their review content. But sometimes one event is enough to go from five stars to one.

If you were at a hotel and it was great except the the valet went joyriding in your car, totaled it, and management shrugged their shoulders saying they can't do anything, would it be wrong for you to give one star? In this case, everything was great except the guest had to save another guest's life on the beach in front of the property and then learned firsthand the hotel pushed back at getting their own guest proper medical care.
