I wouldn't trust the call centers since they aren't the gatekeepers--the ticketing agents are, so check with them.

The problem is that you're facing this twice--once possibly in FRA where you can't talk to them beforehand. For this, I would keep searching for firsthand information. I know in April my wife flew through FRA on UA ticket, LH metal with a visa and had no issues. OCI I know was even less of a hassle back then, but this is a possibly dated data point today.
Thanks so much for the insight. I actually did go to my local airport of departure here in Canada. The agent did some digging on his end, and he said that the transit in FRA should be no problem. He also mentioned that the airport of departure itself in Canada would be able to provide all the boarding passes (Canada to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to India), so that was re assuring a little bit. My flight is at the end of this month, so he couldn't actually enter in my booking details as it's too early, but I think the agent was looking at whatever information was likely available to him.

Does that change the scenario at all? If all my boarding passes are issued at the departing airport itself in Canada, are chances high that I'd likely be okay? Any thoughts?
