If you were writing a review on the airport then yes you would mention the local mafia operating there. I have read tons of hotel reports that discuss the neighborhood or other dubious activities that go on in or close to the hotel grounds or even how noisy the surrounding roads are. Some of these things are out of the control of the hotel but are still discussed.
I wouldn’t mind learning from a review about the possibility of being attacked by a crocodile
at a hotel I intend to visit. The only question I guess is the degree of negativity in the tone of the review. I try to ignore inappropriate puffery when reading reports.
