The SQ schedule may still show A330 on some routes like BKK or DPS even in 2022. It is just not cleaned up in the schedule yet. There will be no A330 operating any of those flights.
On the A350 Regional seat, it is fine in my book even to places like HND or NRT and at least you can sit and sleep straight without angling your body.
The bulkhead makes no difference in that case unlike on the long haul seat. Yes, it can feel a bit tight in direct comparison to the long haul A359 or ULR Biz seat. Best way is to lower the armrest, certainly no hardship on a 3hrs hop.
If you want to try out the "wide" Biz seat plan another route for the future if you can. Now you know and it is not like SQ does a bait and switch seat wise here. If you look around you will also have a hard time to find other carriers that even offer a fully flat Biz seat on such short routes (e.g. CX certainly doesn't and we don't even need to talk about US Domestic F or Intra-European Biz - shudder). YMMV.
