While I didn't have the Pork Shoulder,,,,(and perhaps I should have given how much others enjoyed it! ).....I did have a HUGE platter of beef ribs, which were "unfortunately" from a completely different type of animal than I had been expecting.....silly me.

OTOH: while I am primarily a pork rib kinda guy, these beef ribs were very tender, not overly "sauced", and certainly not just a series of rib tips, as I've come to expect from places that don't do them well.....

They were tasty, and quite filling (at least the ones I could down at lunch were!)....and I'd do them again, tho perhaps not before trying the pork shoulder....Hillery's is a must for North Chicagoans.....Best, Dave
