The Crockfords lobby isn't any nicer than the Conrad lobby; the only other benefit appears to be the private pool area (which does look nice). I'm not sure any of these features adds up to me being willing to pay much of a premium over the Conrad.
the crockfords room does include a espresso machine, and has all automated lights/curtains and I believe they are a bit larger.
but the lobby is the largest difference, it is MUCH nicer and well appointed than the Conrad, the Conrad has seemed fairly busy the couple times I’ve walked through, but the crockfords is more than double staffed and has amazing customer service so far.
while I was checking in my room was not 100% ready at my 3pm check in and had to wait about 20 mins but was offered 4 complimentary drinks for me and the wife while we waited and made the time much more manageable and the fancy lobby bar.
