Lurker has not responded since Tuesday. I have only gotten offers for future visits....so I guess they want me to spend more to get anything.

Is your reservation still showing Crockfords? I have yet to see a single comment/review/picture of anyone actually staying there.

First images I've seen of a basic Crockfords 2Q room (a set of 14 images halfway down the page) We stayed at the first new casino in Vegas in a decade - and it accepts points (thepointsguy.com) . Also includes a set of images for one of their suites. One of the pictures has arrows with additional pictures.

5% off cabana experience ($800 Cabana plus food & beverage minimum)
5% off pool chair experience (two chairs and $200 minimum)
What exactly does it mean? If you stay on points and so you don't pay a resort fee, you will not get a $10 discount on two pool loungers?

The Crockfords lobby isn't any nicer than the Conrad lobby; the only other benefit appears to be the private pool area (which does look nice). I'm not sure any of these features adds up to me being willing to pay much of a premium over the Conrad.

The photo of the actual Crockfords room looks exactly like a Conrad room, except for the espresso machine.

but the lobby is the largest difference, it is MUCH nicer and well appointed than the Conrad, the Conrad has seemed fairly busy the couple times I’ve walked through, but the crockfords is more than double staffed and has amazing customer service so far.
while I was checking in my room was not 100% ready at my 3pm check in and had to wait about 20 mins but was offered 4 complimentary drinks for me and the wife while we waited and made the time much more manageable and the fancy lobby bar.

the crockfords room does include a espresso machine, and has all automated lights/curtains and I believe they are a bit larger.

Also, can you clarify the pool situation (hope you go) - if you go to the special Crockfords area, are there "free" loungers? How about morning shade? (which way does your room face? - maybe you can just peek out the window if you don't go to the pool).
Another thing I'm wondering about is if the cashless aspect of the casino is mandatory - can you sit at a table, pull out a Benjamin, and gamble (same with sticking a 20 into a slot machine) - or must you hook up to your bank card? I understand when you cash out you won't get chips, that's fine, I just don't want to hook up my credit card to anything to do with gambling.
And do tell us everywhere you've eaten - thanks so much. I'm going in August and really have no choice (FNC expiring).

Which of the pics does your room look most like? - I certainly hope they have not gone back to those awful throws across the bed - first thing we take off.

we went to the pool this morning actually, crockfords guests have access to the “cabana pool” and you can make reservations for them but there was no need to as it was only about 20% full during peak pool hours which was very nice. There is morning shade there and an abundance of large umbrellas to use as well. My room faces the pool as a city view, and can directly see all of the pools.
I haven’t done much gambling yet but from the machine dive seen there are still slots to insert cash into them so no you don’t have to hook up your bank account/PayPal if you don’t want to
ive eaten at the food court last night and the Asian food was fantastic and the kiosks you order from operate seamlessly. The kitchen has good omlets for breakfast as well

The lobby appointments may be a matter of taste, but I prefer the Conrad lobby and bar/lounge area.
I don't know what things will be like at peak times in the pool, but the 21+ infinity pool has a nice view and I think is preferable to the cabana pool, presuming you can get a seat at infinity. The pool area was never more than 25% full when I was there.
The base rooms at Conrad and Crockfords are both 550 sq ft. I'm sure the service is better at Crockfords, or at least intended to be, but if everything goes smoothly then you shouldn't have to deal with much service at all. I posted a review in the Conrad thread of my service experience there.
The casino still takes cash, and cash and plastic players cards seems to be a lot easier than the crappy app.
