Vicarello has beautiful views, but is a bit away from it all and limited in facilities and services due to being a small hotel with just 9 rooms. Depends what you are looking for. I liked it a lot.

Borgo Santo Pietro is in a slightly less attractive part if Tuscany, and no views from the rooms as the resort is set on flat land, not a hilltop.

Monastero is in a very good location, it’s a bit too big for my taste with 75 rooms. Views are not spectacular, and F&B was a weak point when I stayed there last year.

Reschio is brand-new, very nice hard product, but service level are still far from what one would expect at that price point. It’s an old castle, so views from the rooms are very limited. No outside space either for the rooms. It’s not in Tuscany, but deep in the Umbrian countryside. There isn’t much to do in the direct vicinity.

I agree with the suggestion of the Rosewood, which is the best luxury property overall in Tuscany.

I haven’t been to Casole and Pignano yet, but private outside space might be an issue here too. I also want to visit Como Castello del Nero and Badia di Pomaio.

Excellent information, thank you.

I only left off Rosewood because it obvious, the others stood out.
