This is true. I ordered several kits for my family and our upcoming trips and called the company to ask specifically about this issue as it seems to be wasteful to have 24 kits for one trip requiring one test.

Of note, the company doesn't provide information about acceptance in other countries. I specifically asked about the UK. However, looking at the UK Gov't website, these kits should qualify for pre-entry testing.
