Sinovac is obviously better than nothing. But every study on it by reliable researchers seems to show a much, much lower efficacy rate than Pfizer/Moderna/J&J/AZ and even Sputnik.
Its quite logically/statistically justified for countries to not recognise someone whos had Sinovac as being fully vaccinated as a result.
