Makes obvious sense to go with Boeing for so many reasons so I don't think too many people here will be surprised.

Although I do wonder how much of a say the govt had on choosing Boeing for diplomatic reasons: US anti aircraft carriers parked outside our exclusion zone and the US making noises about NZ comprising US interests by not ordering Boeing planes.

New J class hard product design should be interesting.
