I have been eying this property as a backup. I am going to the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in July which was newly acquired by Hyatt and has undergone reservations but many complaints about the service.
I am happy to see within the last month or so since I’ve checked this property has updated pictures for most room categories. The renovation looks very nice! Definitely better than the stuck in the 90s overly colorful tropical vibe some of the room pictures had, and still have on some channels on Expedia etc
also anyone have any insight as to why they didn’t just invest the money to redo the abandoned regency here than go elsewhere on the island? If I was a timeshare owner here I’d be upset knowing there was an abandoned hotel sitting on the land my dues were supposedly not going towards but probably eking onto.
