I wouldn't care if there were a separate bucket for upgrades, but I sure wish they'd tell us if there is. And ideally explain how to identify that bucket's availability aside from basically take the rep's word for it. And I recognize Hyatt can do whatever they want, but transparency on something like this builds customer loyalty. And it would certainly result in more Hyatt stays for us. Having to call or message every potential hotel to ask about upgrade possibilities is a pain, and I eventually give up and move on to another brand if I can't easily find what I want.
