Are you sure about that? Maybe the dates have been misinterpreted.

For example, I have "Future Flight Credits" and mine must be used to book before August 1st 2022 for travel through June 30th 2023.

That is, book BEFORE 1/8/2022 for travel up to 30/6/2023.
