Will be flying PE this summer to Europe. Row 12 looks nice as nobody is reclining back on you but gets a yellow for "close to lav". Do you hear the flush or smell the bathroom? Row 14 looks nice as nobody is behind you (but I found a review that "beware, there may be an infant behind you in 1st row of economy"). I've found people saying 13 is the way to go... but you don't get the legroom of 12 or nobody behind you touching seat to get up or watch video.

Any recs for the 2 side seats?

Thx

Welcome to AC FT.

First, if you haven't seen the photos of the seats and rows, you can look at this thread.
Seats and Cabins on the B788, B789, and the 777 (3 versions)

More specifically, in the wiki, you'll see a list of posts that have photos of the Premium Economy cabin and seats. To save you some time, see posts 2, 3, 7, 15 and 20

I've sat in 12A and 12K. Lots of legroom, but no foot rest, IFE is stored in the arm rest so seats are a bit more narrow than rows 13 and 14.

I've flown across the Pacific a couple of times in 14A and 14C, and across the Atlantic in 14 middles.

Babies can be everywhere including the middle section of row 12 in Premium Economy, not just row 18 in Economy.

Also, I'll add the usual disclaimer: YMMV and if you ask 10 people which seats are best on any aircraft of any airline, you'll likely get 15 different answers (or whatever the current math multiple is.)
