I wonder if it is related to an expected restart of full tilt return to business and giving the hotels a chance to ramp up. Around here (DC) we have some friends in the service industry and they are struggling to find help.
I might sound like an apologist but I am going to give them a chance to let us know the full details. And we have a 4 week US based road trip planned later this year that are heavily HGI and DT for the very reason of breakfast, so I am impacted by this pretty heavily.
