I might sound like an apologist but I am going to give them a chance to let us know the full details. And we have a 4 week US based road trip planned later this year that are heavily HGI and DT for the very reason of breakfast, so I am impacted by this pretty heavily.

Sad, but true. If you think this is bad, just wait for the airlines to devalue their points over the next 12 months. Iberia just had a devaluation like 24 hours ago.
