You indicated the ticket agent denied you boarding. Why were you seeing a TA at DFW?
Normally, you would go from your arrival gate to your departure gate at DFW
There is really no need for an agent to have to memorized the requirements, that is why the access a system with that info. If they cannot understand it, then they are in the wrong job.
