Ironically they actually had a market differentiated card with the Premier, 3x on everything travel including gas, which bested both the CSP and the Amex Green, and predictably Citi managed to F that up and re-jigged the earnings structure.

I like new categories much more, since they include unlimited groceries, restaurants and gas stations. Those are more useful than car rental and other insignificant travel categories like parking, tolls, taxicabs, etc.
