I'd like to stay here in June, but man, reading this and the TripAdvisor recent reviews - WOW!

One big reason we'd like to stay here is for the pool and hot tub, but those currently aren't open (could be in June). And another is that it's a Marriott.

Anyone have other good recommendations in the area? La Fonda looks interesting.
