Back to the topic: It is rather puzzling why Bonvoy would not open LTT again. The extra cost ti the program would be rather minimal (75% vs. 50% bonus points) and those points now have even less values than even a few years ago. Cost of other benefits of Titanium are rather minimal. They could just make it 1,000 lifetime nights and 10 years as Titanium. The main problem with Bonvoy is that there is little differentiation above PLT. O.K., one can get 1 free night capped at 40K points after 75 nights but that is about it. Hyatt is doing it right with milestone awards even Hilton is giving you extra 10K points every time you log in 10 nights starting at 40 nights (20 nights in 2021) and extra 30K when crossing 60 nights.
