I just joined Privilege CLub and can assign my booking to my account...but can't ENHANCE IT due to this message.

It's an AA Award booking with 2 flights on Qatar.

In 99% of the cases you cannot upgrade an award flight. Does depend what you mean by upgrade.
As an AA award AA "own" the ticket.
