I have gotten hooked on spice blends from Spicewalla, a small manufacturer out of Asheville, NC. Their cowboy steak rub and honey and herb rub on salmon are outstanding. We will be spending August in AVL again and I’m looking forward to a factory tour and loading up.
Thanks for the reminder--we have a big tub of their honey and herb rub that we found at Costco at one point (we've also seen a Spicewalla taco seasoning set there) and you inspired me to get some out and put it on my salmon for lunch.
