BTW, this history indicates CHURNER to the card issuers.
Chase had no issue approving my latest card as soon as I was under 5/24 so I assume my history doesn't scream CHURNER to all card issuers.

I'm just trying to find the silver bullet that is causing problems with AMEX specifically. The consensus is they don't have a hard and fast 5/24 rule like Chase, and if they are going back many years I'm surprised half the people on this forum get approved for AMEX cards. Like Kacee mentioned my history is probably fairly typical for much of the audience of this forum.
