Boards through 2L, mid-cabin lav, quieter, better placement of windows and more space above the seats thanks to a lower cabin floor, better selection of 'good' Y cabin seats (2L exit rows, etc.). It's just all around a better experience. The A321 is about as good as it gets after that, despite boarding through 1L and having stupidly long boarding/deplaning times.
