Exclamation Electronically Reissued AONE5!?!?!?

Well, this was a first for me.

I decided to make a routing change on my AONE5. Since I no longer live near NYC, I decided to ignore my own advice and better judgment and go to AA at Bradley International Airport in Hartford for the reissue (my new local airport). As expected with a handwritten ticket, the AA RTW Desk could not see the ticket image, so they could not send it off to be rated in advance.

Anyway, I go to the ticket counter and the AAgent did not have any experience with RTW reissues (not a shocker), but called international tarriffs and fed all the relevant information to that AAgent. Total time for the international tarriffs AAgent to work on the ticket was an hour, which was pretty much what I expected it to take. Then it was time for the BDL AAgent to reissue the ticket. Even though I only have five segments left on the ticket, I expected it would again have to be handwritten or, at best, printed-out if they could trick SABRE into doing that.

But no.

To my extreme surprise and much to the delight of the BDL AAgent, the international tarriffs AAgent was able to issue it as an electronic ticket.

I looked over the ticket and the full fare calculation is there, but there is no tarriff breakdown. I do have a tarriff breakdown from a previous version of the ticket and all the reciepts from my previous reissues.

I was somewhat dubious as I had never heard of anyone getting a handwritten XONEX ticket converted into a electronic ticket, even with a reissue when almost all the segments were used-up. I called Cathay, on whom most the remaining five segments are ticketed, and their records indicate an electronic ticket.

So, all seems to be okay. Or is it? Anyone think I am going to have problems when I show-up at CX NRT on Nov. 1?
