People in India had a super relaxed attitude when I visited in March, the situation in the Taj Bengal, malls, airports etc were cray cray. People were washing their hands in desinfectant like ganges water but wearing the mask under their nose or pulling it down to talk to others. Also the fact that many had covid with mild symptoms or heard of others who only had mild symptoms must have contributed to the relaxed attitude.
