Except that having a test taken with the past 72 hours also doesn't prevent your from catching or spreading COVID either by the time you're on the plane.
So it's not like vaccination being imperfect is being compared to something perfect, it's being compared to something that's also imperfect.
But which of these two imperfect things reduces the risk more, that's the question?
In fact, probably the combination of the two reduces risk the most, so how about needing
both proof of vaccination
and a negative test within 72 hours?
