We clearly prefer more traveling than the average! And having previously lived in UK for 60 years, and been to Rest Of Europe on quite a few occasions during that timeline, our horizons are much wider. Long journeys don’t bother us, but warm/hot weather is essential ... not always easy to find reliably in much of Europe!. So apart from HI, we do VA and AZ quite regularly. Loads of Caribbean, and Mediterranean, and pre-Covid an annual South Africa.

American residents are lucky. You have a huge and amazing country that offers all the climate and geography variations almost anoyone could wish ... while using the same currency and language!
