FWIW, QR on Twitter is saying Covid entry restrictions qualify as an “involuntary change.”
But as usual I don’t know whose correct. Even though I can’t enter Thailand now, the call center said it’s a voluntary change which doesn’t seem fair or make sense to me. At this point it just seems people are making up rules as you go and it all depends if you get a good agent.
In any event she let me change the dates to winter due to me being unable to enter Thailand at this time, so we’ll see what happens. Very strange since the India call center was so apprehensive in letting me change dates but the Qatari call center immediately changed, and wanted me to change the dates.
