Is this anything to do with the headlines saying EU threatens to veto vaccine deliveries into UK? The timing is a bit suspicious. I hope EU didn't blackmail AZ into keeping vaccines produced in EU in the EU like what happened with Australian deliveries.

I think HMG will have to say more about the sudden change as Hancock's answer wasn't really an answer and it's front page news all over the UK press.

According to the Telegraph, there will be a shortage of 5 million doses in April due to issues with AZ production in India resulting in a 4 week delay.
