And it looks like you can fly LAX-EWR-BOM all in lie flat seats. Possibly even in all Polaris seats. Not bad at all.

You might want to try LAX-YYZ-BOM. All on AC metal. It starts with 4 1/2 hours on a 737, which is not optimal. But I have had good experience with AC's long haul business product and the MLLs are solid lounges.
Ahh yeah with ORD there's definitely a lot more flexibility. The problem here is that I want to avoid any flights that involve flying in the daytime. That was the whole issue with LH. With UA I fly one of their overnights to EWR and the options are nice with that 930pm on a 781 polaris plane as u said, or 11pm dorm-style 777 flat seats, spend the day working from a relative's place, and then finish work day and fly out in the evening to bom. I guess I could do something similar with AC as well and spend the day in a hotel or something once Canada opens up, and the YYZ mll is way better than any UA club at ewr, I'll definitely consider that option if it gets presented to me.

Ok cool, I guess I will report back what is happening at LAX after dropping by tomorrow then. Thanks for that
