That really depends on the airport. I've been through quite a few where the lounge is much emptier than the concourse. SEA being the best example. There were two other people in the AC SFO on Saturday morning, and DL SC SFO is similar.

Alternative could be getting food/drinks to go from the food court, and enjoy at an empty gate (easy to find these days).
