For those with questions about transit: I flew from Frankfurt to Dubai, via Paris at the beginning of March: The flight from Frankfurt was fairly full (more than I expected), with as far as I could tell mostly people living in Germany flying to US, Mexico, Middle East and Asia via Paris. There was a long check-in queue as documents were checked (calls were made etc), but I didn't see anyone get rejected. Those travelling to Mexico or Costa Rica just needed a passport (no test or other paperwork) so were the fastest.
In Paris, our boarding passes were scanned multiple times on the walk between 2F and 2K to check we were going the right way. There was a very long queue for passport control to leave schengen, but we were escorted to the sky priority line where there was no wait. It looked like the controls were taking a long time for some people, however for us it was as fast as normal (hand over passport and boarding pass, passport scanned, passport glanced at and then all ok).
