Hello everyone,

I have a flight canceled causing a misconnection by Qatar and I am not sure whether my new plan will incur any extra charges, I have not done anything yet, but thinking it will be a good thing to drop in here so that I would be able to speak specifically what I want to the agent for a faster process.

My original itinerary:
20 Mar QR4+QR818 (LHR-DOH-HKG) [this sector has minor time changes]
10 Apr QR817+QR9 (HKG-DOH-LHR) [QR817 is canceled and they protected me onto QR815 which leaves 6 hours later and change my connecting flight to QR3]

In this case, will I be able to reschedule with the same city pair (LHR r/t HKG) to a whole different date (i.e. 18 June 2021 to 31 Aug 2021) free of any charge?

Thank you in advance for any information. I have heard many different versions from my friends and I am quite confused about the current policy.
