I think I understand the 500 mile/same country destination change in case of involuntary changes, and believe it would apply in this case. But trying to understand. Basically, the last flight in my itinerary from Doha has been cancelled, and I was rescheduled on a flight 7+ hours later. Is it possible to change the last flight so I could avoid a long overnight layover in DOH?

Is the 500 mile option only to change destination? What about starting point?? Would making my ticket an open jaw an option?

With another significant change to my itinerary, I want to make sure I take advantage of the flexibility that I have here.
