1) Would I have to pay a fare difference to move a flight to a different day if the same booking class is available? I'm looking at a flight which I may have to move forward. There's an advance purchase requirement on it. If I was to book this ticket then need to move the date closer (and early than the advance requirement), then will I have to pay a difference in fare (even if there is availability in the same booking class and assuming no cancellations/schedule changes by QR)? My read is that I'll have to pay.
2) Can I technically book a return, fly one way, get the return leg refunded to my original method of payment? It seems to be that this is possible?
Appreciate the help!
1- Yes, the fare difference would apply regardless if there is availability in the same fare bucket or not. The advanced purchase requirements would apply and the ticket re-issue date would be considered.
2- Yes, you could do that. It's possible.
