The test was conducted at the conference center located in between the two hotels. Consisted of checking in, being escorted into the private room where the single nurse takes the test, and waiting in a common area for the results (did find that kind of odd, but me and my SO were way more than 6ft away from others, and everyone was wearing masks). We had our results within 15 minutes (negative thankfully) in written form, and we were on our way to enjoy the rest of our vacation. To anyone who is on the fence about coming down here, but is worried about the testing, I say come on down. The testing was process was very well-organized and only took 30 minutes out of our 5-day trip. Something of note though, the DR seems to be taking COVID very seriously. Mask-wearing is expected in all public areas, detailed info (passport #, phone number #, place of stay, etc.) is taken for contract tracing when entering the country and checking into hotels, and temperatures are taken before entering restaurants.

*Now, if you do happen to test positive on the antigen, they’ll offer you a complimentary PCR test to double-check the result. If that’s positive as well, I believe they’ll charge you a $129/night rate for the quarantine duration. However, I didn’t ask about the specific policies.

EDIT: I still have not flown back to the US yet. I’ll update this post with my check-in experience once I’m back home.
Coming back to update my flying experience. We were required to show our attestation form and printed test results before even entering the baggage drop-off line at PUJ. After that, we only had to show our attestation form before boarding during the usual questionnaire for flights going to the US. Overall, nothing to complicated or stressful.
