Most club Marriott members are not elite members. They likely buy the package for one time things. So I don't think that's the reason they are reducing 30%. Anyhow 20% off for dining for platinum and above has been there quite sometime basically they just back to "usual discount" where the 30% promo is over. I hardly use that promo in my country as CC offer 50% off for dining at Marriott bonvoy
