As far as I can tell the revised version appears identical, with the same exclusions. As a Titanium member the 30% off takes the Marriott restaurants into the "typical" price I'd pay for a restaurant, and potentially a bit lower when you consider the quality and the trend towards more unlimited deals. I feel the programme has done a good job of driving me to spend in hotels rather than eat out, even during the pandemic, so it's probably a good thing that it continues. After all, I need some help to hit that reduced Ambassador spend when rooms are "so cheap"....

What are you expecting from being Ambassador? Better save the money.

So at Courtyard Seminyak again and while getting some food for takeaway to the room one of the staff mentioned to me that they are extending this benefit, though Titanium members will only recieve 20% for February. Not sure about lower tiers but at least there's is some discount continuing.

So they updated the page, with no end date listed. Amb, titanium and plats get 20%. Gold gets 15% and silver and regular members get 10% off. Kind of a shame how they lumped three tiers together for the same discount. Though I'm not an Amb I would have thought they would give them 5% more than the rest at minimum.

Too bad it seems only 20% off now in China too. They often did 30% for China and 20% elsewhere. It really was a great deal and I have to give Marriott credit. I've been scooping up triple Hyatt points the last few months for dining when not staying but had planned to go back to Marriott to eat a lot when Hyatt's promo was over.

Reason they are reducing 30% to 20% due to complaints from Club Marriott member, and decreasing sales of Club Marriott due to lack of incentives for being a members as they entitle to receive 30% discount for most restaurants in the AP region. Just another way for Marriott trying to increase revenue for AP region

Got an email saying the F&B discount will remain 30% off in Greater China through end of 2021. If so, that's awesome.
I'm at a Park Hyatt right now so will eat here for 3 point bonus but will try a Marriott for dining to see if still discount next week.
Discount I believe is same for all elite tiers and I think even regular members. This to me shows Marriott again is good towards the masses but not towards elites. They don't want to cater to us specifically but more of a one size fits all loyalty approach.
My friends who are elites are all upset w Marriott. My friends who occasionally stay or don't care about elite benefits like it.
But 30% off is awesome. Good on Marriott

I recently dined as part of the Bonvoy Asia 'program' for external diners .. points have not posted. Normally I send a copy of the invoice to 1 of 4 different Bonvoy email addresses I have .. however, they have all bounced back.
In 2020 I used this address successfully multiple times .. 'Donna' would often reply: [email protected]
I can't use the Missing Stay form because you need to fill in stay details.
Any one have the contact details I can use to get the points credited please?

Not renewing Club Marriott
The Club Marriott has been disappointing for a few years. After Covid they didn’t grant any extension (poor customer service). So last year I signed up again to get some of the free night certificates. Booked at JW BKK and was told on checkin they no longer take those free night vouchers. Booked at Marriott 57 and was told in checkin no Bonvoy Titanium benefit (no upgrade, no lounge, no breakfast) apply to free and bogo voucher. in both cases I walked away and cancelled the stay.
St Regis‘ Zuma stopped accepting Club Marriott. Dining vouchers were based on 1000 baht coupons which are a pain to redeem.
„upcountry“ benefits are meager and not a whole lot better than just using the Bonvoy Titanium discounts.
For the 2024 year I was offered a half price membership plus 3 month extension on unexpired vouchers. Too little too late after so many poor experiences with the card.
The new tier threshold benefits were a nice idea except the threshold vouchers expire after 30 days. Isn’t that infuriating when they give you something and then before you barely notice you have a benefit it shows as „expired“.
In reality the vouchers aren’t freebies. They are prepaid services and when I can’t redeem my prepaid services with some level of confidence there is no point advancing the money.
The whole Club Marriott thing is now basically stupid to the point of no return.

Just curious how you do that. Presume you had a guaranteed reservation at the hotels? If yes, how do you walk away without consequences? And if you did not have a guaranteed booking, how do you make a booking without a guarantee?

The bookings were made by phone mentioning the voucher which the hotel then refused to accept, or denied Bonvoy benefits for. Easier to walk away than putting up a fight with the hotel refusing to honor their reservation.
