I am flying QR from SIN-DOH-DXB, then connecting on EK DXB-JFK. The stopover is about 5hrs.
These are 2 separate bookings, with 2 separate PNRs.

I know that I will need a transit/stopover visa which I can apply for online, and need to show proof of the onward flight etc. That is not an issue.

What I can't seem to find an answer for is if I will need to take another PCR/rapid test before boarding my flight to JFK.
I will of course take a PCR test before leaving SIN. Let's say I take the PCR test in SIN 48hrs before my flight. By the time I get to DXB, I would still be within the 72hr (pre-flight covid test) period which the US requires. I'm worried that the check in agents may not recognize my PCR test as it was taken in a different country.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!
I’m not sure you need a visa if you’re not going landside, but you seem to have that under control.

I did a trip towards the the end of 2020 through DXB on separate PNRs. They simply wanted to see the PCR test done, and matched that against the requirements of the destination (time elapsed, laboratory taken at etc). Wasn’t a problem at all.
