Ah, gotcha, thanks for clarifying -- the previous discussion took place while the web site was apparently in transition, thus the regular vs. -2 versions of the link, but eventually I think the -2 version became the official version and so that advice doesn't work anymore.
You might be able to get a phone agent to book a specific fare class for you, or as also mentioned earlier in the thread there's a tool called ITA Matrix that can be used to search for specific fare classes, and then you have to use a specific browser tool or helper web site to actually book it. There's a bit of a learning curve to this, so calling in may be simpler. But if you want to look into the ITA workaround, here are some other FlyerTalk threads that may be of use
