It was the Thanksgiving Cyber Monday Deal so it wasn't a mistake as it was only available for that weekend and Economy for the same route was half the price $2XXr/t. And with the current COVID service level, it's really not even worth $514. I'm just doing this for the MQD and MQM.

Holding my money for 12 months is definitely not a reasonable time... and not to mention that they are under Ch.11. Who knows if they even exist in 12 months time? As far as my bank is concerned, I can do a charge back within 120 days from the flight in question.

But my main objective is not to seek a refund. Frankly $514 is not a lot of money. I need to travel on those days as I have made other travel arrangements. That is the reason I'm asking them to protect me on another carrier or provide hotel. I can't find it acceptable to change my travel date without my consent and then force me to spend a night at the airport terminal for 20 hours.
