These days I just use
one of these (acquired direct from the manufacturer at an excellent discount). Nothing beats push of a button.
That is a stunning machine. I just can't justify spending more than a couple of hundred quid on an espresso machine or I'd have one.
on a different topic, I'm finding the pour over provides a stronger, cooler cup of coffee like the above poster. I used boiling water this morning and didn't notice much of a difference in flavour versus a 90° water.
