Clearly social responsibility, rule of law and common community spirit is something you don't value.

Not only the fact that by the fact they are travelling, they are increasing their chance of infection, and ultimately the import of additional covid back to the UK.

And before you say, wait Dubai has less cases than the UK. The fact they are travelling, rather than staying at Home means it's a higher risk profile.

As a UK taxpayer, I don't want my social services & NHS resources overwhelmed by irresponsible idiots.
The point is, and was initially, that leaving the country is not causing anyone any problems and commenting on it screams not being at peace with one’s self.

We are not talking about how people re enter the country. That was not the topic.

You commented on not being able to see one’s parents being comparable. This shows a huge lack of understanding. Visiting someone (even your parents) socially, is prolonged contact and exposure to each other. Sitting in a business class seat on a plane is not. Parents are likely to be old, this is a risk. Young able bodied people amongst each other on flights, much less so.

By all means restrict people entering a country, but stopping people leaving is a ridiculous notion and is simply not going to happen.
