(31 May if cancellation policy is extended).

The requirements are as follows: earn 3000 miles via TWO partners within 89 days. The examples she provided were to transfer X miles from AmEx and Y miles from a hotel rewards program.

Has anyone else heard of or tried this challenge?

The other alternative is to book an award before they expire and then cancel the award to have the miles redeposited with a new expiration date, which would be an additional year from the original expiration date of the miles.
I rather do the alternative. Not difficult at all.
