With the pandemic it’s interesting how the rules are different everywhere. The Whole Foods hot food and salad bars were reopened in the Cleveland area stores. You have to clean your hands and put on gloves before taking food. The clubs don’t let you sit but you sit at gates. It would work with social distancing.
Last time I went through IAD, at LH and TK lounge, I just grabbed the individually wrapped food, just like most of the UCs. At the AF lounge, they made a change that we needed to put on gloves or use a paper to grab individually wrapped food. At SEA and LAS, at the club, you can't grab anything, there's a guy to get you what you wanted. When there's no real scientific evidence around on what's best to do, people are left to make up their own procedures on what is safe or more likely what they think will make customers feel safe enough to come in the door. It's like going through TSA.
