How long for points to be re-deposited?
A planned trip to Mount Juliet (Ireland) has fallen victim to a COVID lockdown closure and the hotel has now cancelled our award reservation.
However, I have yet to receive a cancellation e-mail and the points have not been re-deposited. Based on past experience this usually happens pretty much instantly. Should I be worried? Is it possible for a hotel to cancel an award booking without triggering a re-deposit?
