Safeway definitely carries brisket, both plain and already 'corned'. We usually chop and fry the leftover corned beef with whatever veg we have for an improvised hash.

I too would like to smoke a whole brisket but am waiting until I have a dedicated smoker. I think using the Weber or Kamado would take too much maintenance.
