Well, yes. However, they can't all be first and you can get good versions of those things in the U.S. (though usually not as good). But, those sandwiches just have a different taste in Paris. (Probably just my imagination.)
definitely got croissants and pain a chocolat on our first day in paris for our final trip; and I’m pretty sure I had foie gras and red table wine for supper. But definitely the bakery visit after we checked into our rental. Sigh so fun
