Crazy idea: ask AA to rebook you onto the new AA BLR-SEA service that starts Nov 1, 2021 (AA181). That will be cancelled for sure... then you get your money back or can rebook to convinient date. And book a new ticket India-US on top. You can use that to come back to India next December.
